Coco Martin plays as Alexander Del Tiero, a lad in his twenty-something age who tries to woo his higher ranking military official grandfather, General Sebastiano played by Ronaldo Valdez by joining the Armed Forces of the Philippines even if it is against his will. Alexander doesn't want to become an army soldier, and he thinks just by doing so, he is only making his grandfather happy.

One military mission against the rebels, Alexander was tasked to join the New People's Army to get information from them. But instead of fighting for the military, Alexander's beliefs were reciprocated when his principles were changed into what the rebels are fighting for. Alexander now fights against the will of the military, and against the will of his beloved grandfather. Which side will Alexander choose to fight in the end — for the military or for the rebel?

Alexander Del Tierro (Coco Martin) is trying to convince his twin brother - Javier (CocoMartin) to go with him. Alexander wants Javier to see his father - Joauin Del Tierro (John Estrada) and tell him about himself. Javier did not want to go with Alexander because he do believed that Alexander is the reason why his family is not in good terms anymore. Javier then tried shooting Alexander but he failed and Alexander fought with him. On the other hand, Krista "Kate" (Maja Salvador) and Gabrielle "Gabby" Marcelo (Andi Eigenmann) are also fighting with each other. They fought with each other with regards to each one's belief and love. Krista tells Gabby how mad she is towards the group of armies for killing her parents. Gabby then tried to defend herself and the rest of the armies that they are just doing their job. When Krista and Javier got a chance escaping from both Alexander and Gabby, Krista and Javier was caught by the other armies. The group of armies then asked Javier whom they thought is Alexander on why he is with a rebel - Krista. Suddenly, Alexander and Gabby arrived telling everybody that the person they have caught is not Alexander but rather is Javier. Joaquin and Edgardo Marcelo (Dante Rivero) are very shocked to whom they saw and the asked Alexander about it. On the other hand, KaElena/Remedios (Boots Anson Roa) and Lora/Rosa (Amy Austria - Ventura) was also there when Javier and Krista was caught by the armies. Lora and KaElena are also shocked with whom they saw - the twin brother of Javier whom Javier have told them ever since. When everyone is in chaos, both the group of armies and the rebels, Javier was accidentaly shot. With this incident, KaElena surrendered herself to the armies so that they are not going to hurt Javier anymore. Now that KaElena and Javier is with the group of armies, will Lora also surrender herself to them? How will KaBernabe (Tonton Gutierrez) try to stop Lora if she is going to surrender herself to the armies?
